Sorry. This is going to be a short one. It's already a quarter till midnight and I'm tired.
The day was full. Full, but good. Quiet morning, Bible reading, then off to see Wicked. It was WONDERFUL. I just soaked in the atmosphere, the artistry, the song, the story. I wanted to carry the glow of all that beauty around with me after it was over.
But we had just an hour back at our hotel and then we met some people for supper. Mr. had met the husband on a previous trip, and they wanted to get together with us as couples. It was a very nice evening, considering we didn't really know each other. They ordered Chinese for us, and it was all really great food.
The restaurant was the kind where they have tanks and tanks of live seafood, and you go pick out your own fish or prawns or whatever you want to eat. We chose a fish. I decided his name was Fred. He was delicious.
Then we went to see our new friend's small business in Chinatown. It is a small shop called the Loft. We got there after the kitchen had closed, but the menu looked yummy. Mostly all-day breakfast and pastries. On the top floor they have room for people to pray and meet for Bible studies. It's a great concept.
