Argh!

I'm sitting here, trying to send a file by e-mail. I was hoping to be in bed over an hour ago, but I'm hitting a snag.

Today the printer brought over a sample to proof, and I found a huge mistake. Totally my fault. It isn't a difficult fix, but I'm having trouble sending the new file to him. Bah. The internet isn't great here, but I thought I'd be able to do it. I wait about a half an hour for it to send, and when it gets almost to the end, it pops up a message that it can't be sent. :-( Why can't it tell me that at the beginning of the process???

Anyway, I found beauty in decay today. There's this building close to my home that is crumbling down. It's an old French colonial building, and I can see the faded grandeur of what it must have once been. I'd love nothing more than to see it restored, but it's pretty far gone.

People age more here than in the US. They get weathered, bent and wrinkled. And sometimes they have more beauty and character in their faces than these people we see who get tucks and botox in efforts to stay young. Sometimes they just look weird. I often see more dignity in the older people here.
